From the field to your port.
Ethiopia sits eight hundred kilometres from the Red Sea. Six steps stand between a standing crop in the north and a container on the water, and we are accountable for all of them.
Farm and cooperative
Bought direct from farmers and cooperatives, so the origin of a lot is known before it is paid for.
Collection
Lots are aggregated at collection points close to the growing areas, and kept separate by type and origin.
Cleaning and grading
Sorted, de-stoned and graded to the contracted grade. CONFIRM: own facility or rented
Bagging
Bagged and marked to the contract, then held for inspection. CONFIRM: bag type and weight
Dry port and clearance
Stuffed, sealed and cleared for export. CONFIRM: Modjo dry port
Djibouti, then your port
Trucked down the corridor to Djibouti and loaded. Documents follow the shipment.
Scroll or swipe the stages
One corridor, and we know it.
Almost all Ethiopian trade moves through Djibouti. That concentration is an advantage when you know the route and a problem when you do not. Freight coordination is part of what we do, not something we hand off and hope about.
- Product sourcing and processing
- Packaging and labelling to the contract
- Documentation and certification
- Freight coordination to the destination port
- One point of contact from quote to arrival
The date matters more than the price.
A cheap shipment that arrives a month late costs more than an honest quote that lands when it said it would. We would rather give you a date we can hold than win the order and disappoint you once.
Send these five and you get a quote with a shipment window attached, in one working day.
